What is the LINK Lock-In?

New in 2026, the LINK Lock-In is a one-night program designed for teens ages 13–17 who are interested in becoming future staff members at Camp Endres. This fun and immersive weekend experience builds leadership, inclusivity, independence, and teamwork—all while giving participants a taste of the unique community that makes camp so special.

The program is open to both teens with and without diabetes. We’ll gather on Saturday afternoon and wrap up by Sunday early afternoon, creating the perfect opportunity to learn, grow, and connect in just 24 hours.

What we do.

At DSOK, our mission is to build connection, confidence, and community for everyone impacted by type 1 diabetes—and the LINK Lock-In is a natural extension of that. Over the course of one exciting overnight, teens (with or without diabetes) take part in team-building activities, leadership workshops, and group challenges that foster independence and inclusivity.

It’s not just about preparing for future roles at Camp Endres—it’s about creating friendships, practicing life skills, and strengthening the supportive DSOK community that lasts far beyond the weekend.
